J-N Champagne
1999 Pony Of the Americas Mare
14.2hh 900lb
Varnish Palomino Roan With Blanket and Spots
She came to us with a fear of the saddle, our best guess is that one of her former owners didn't cinch it tight enough and it wound up underneath her and panicked her. We have saddled her and although she was nervous about it, she was still a good girl. We should have her riding by spring.
Chandy was recently inspected for her permanent POA registration. She is too tall at 14.2 for regular registration, so she will get ID papers. This means she can't be shown in POAC sponsered events, but she has full breeding rights as a POA.
Chandy is an appsolute sweet heart. She has a wonderful disposition and tries her very hardest to please, even when she is unsure. She is a fairly dominant mare, she is the #2 mare in our herd but she needs a confindent handler to bring out her best.
