Our Sheep Boys:

We decided to get into pygmy goats because they are just so darn cute!  They love to play and bounce around.  Goaties are always entertaining.
They are also very smart, and you can see the intelligence in their eyes.  When they look at something, you can almost see their little gears turning trying to figure things out.

In addition to the  goats, we have two American Blackbelly hair sheep.  Hair sheep are exactly what they sound like, they have hair instead of wool.  They grow a winter coat and shed it off in the spring.  They never need shearing and are very hardy compared to wool sheep.  They are perfect for our Northern climate!

Our New Additions:

On March 27, 2008 Gramma delivered tiny (but healthy!) twins; a little girl who looks like her Mama and a cocoa colored little boy.  The little girl Alma will be staying here as part of our breeding flock.  The boy Lambchop won't be staying with us.
Gramma is an excellent Mama with a nice full bag.  The babies are growing so fast!
